Island Garden Announces Partnership with Validage

Island Garden is a basketball facility located in West Hempstead, NY. Their theme focuses on "constantly getting better" as they support the development of young basketball players all over Long Island. Now, through a partnership with Validage Sports ID, Inc., we can assume they are applying that theme to ensuring safe and fair play during all their games, leagues and tournaments.
Now every player on every team supported by Island Garden will receive a photo ID as part of their Super League participation. Each player will be expected to carry this ID with them to validate their place on a team. Validage has a well-established reputation for quality and ease in the production of these ID cards. We look forward to this important player ID tool.
About Island Garden:
Island Garden is a 53,000 square foot basketball facility designed to host 3 games at a time with over 120 games played per week. Located in West Hempstead, NY, it has been in operation since October 24, 1998. The facility hosts basketball games and instruction and has been used by the Knicks, Liberty, and NCAA men's tournament as their practice site.
Island Garden is home to the Astoria Bank Super League which has 305 teams for boys and girls and Long Island Lightning AAU Club which has 80 boys and girls teams. The facility hosts various AAU tournaments every weekend during the spring, numerous camps during school holiday breaks and a summer league consisting of over 100 teams, as well as a pre-season league in the fall with 100 high school teams that participate.
