Long Island Baseball Heaven Announces Partnership with Validage

Baseball Heaven is excited to announce its partnership with Validage Sports ID, Inc. Baseball Heaven will begin accepting Validage starting in Spring 2018. Families spend thousands of dollars each year to participate in youth travel sports, in addition to devoting much time and energy to accommodate demanding practice and game schedules. They expect their time and money to translate into skill and knowledge development of the sports and assume their children are competing against kids within the same age grouping in a competitive environment. Unfortunately, with winning and the potential to capitalize financially at stake, some teams have been known to bend the rules in order to gain advantage by bringing in kids outside the respective age restrictions. This not only provides an edge to that team but it jeopardizes player safety when older, bigger and more mature players compete at the wrong level.
Since Baseball Heaven hosts many of these players and families on their fields and facilities, it is a natural fit for partnership to have Validage ensure the safety and fairness of each game through validating the ages and identities of the players.
